Henry Lampman was a native of New York and farmed there until 1853. At that time he moved to Branch County, Michigan where he lived for six years (1859). At that time he and his wife moved to Bureau County, Illinois and later to Stark County, Illinois, near the town of Wyoming. Eventually Henry Lampman moved back to Michigan where he stayed for four years.
After his stay in Michigan, Henry Lampman moved to Iowa. He lived in Iowa for four years before moving to Marshall County, Illinois. According early Marshall County, Illinois birth records and the birth announcements published in the November 28, 1872, issue of the Henry Republican a daughter was "born in Whitefield, Nov. 9, to Henry Lampman." It was in Marshall County, Illinois that his wife, Catherine Wolcott Lampman died. After her death Henry Lampman moved back to Iowa where he lived the rest of his life. During the last days of his life he lived with his daughter Mrs. Ryanary, in Bowlder Township, Linn County, Iowa.
Henry Lampman and his wife Catherine Wolcott Lampman were the parents of Theodore D. Graham. Theodore was the father of Elnora Lampman who married Chalmer O. Graham. Together they became parents of Clarice Graham who married Arthur Miller. Clarice and Arthur Miller became parents to Helen Miller.
